How do you love and trust someone who's only going to hurt you and, in a thousand different little ways, already has? I know I might be jumping the gun. We haven't even hit two months yet. But I feel, deep inside, if I don't take the time to love him now, then how many hours will I have wasted longing to say the words, but afraid to give him my heart? All this waste would drive me mad. Knowing I wasted my time with Travis was enough. Never saying, or doing, any of the things I should have. Two lost months. One lost month with Mike, speechless with fear. On top of all this, perhaps really finding the person who could win my love, and never knowing how good it could have been had I just opened up to him. At the same time, fate is waiting to rear its' ugly head.
I'm in love. I'll freely admit that, and he may hurt me, but circumstance is dealing me a much crueler blow.
We're going to have to move. Perhaps in a few months. Maybe just one. Two weeks, even. Starting the fifth, my life here is numbered by a few months. Weekends spent here will be cut short inevitably. As time continues on, I'll have no hope to have our relationship strengthened. He asked me to move with him after senior year, and I have no doubt that I could stay with him until that time. But a long-distance relationship, without the benefit of computer, and short bursts on the phone... it might not work out. It probably won't work out. I've lost him. If only... if only I'd met him sooner... if only... I love him. I do. But how will I be able to overcome this? How will he? I can't be so cruel as to ask him to wait for me, to settle with this half-assed relationship I'm offering him.
Any suggestions?

Take it once...
| I am the Siren A man is often secretly oppressed by the role he has to play - by always having to be responsible, in control, and rational. The Siren is the ultimate male fantasy figure because she offers a total release form the limitations of his life. In her presence, which is always heightened and sexually charged, the male feels transported to a realm of pure pleasure. In a world where women are often too timid to project such an image, learn to take control of the male libido by embodying his fantasy. Symbol: Water. The song of the Siren is liquid and enticing, and the Siren herself is fluid and ungraspable. Like the sea, the Siren lures you with the promise of infinite adventure and pleasure. Forgetting past and future, men follow her far out to sea, where they drown. | What Type of Seducer are You? created by polite_society

Take it twice...
| I am the Coquette The ability to delay satisfaction is the ultimate art of seduction - while waiting, the victim is held in thrall. Coquettes are the grand masters of the game, orchestrating a back-and-forth movement between hope and frustration. They bait with the promise of reward - the hope of physical pleasure, happiness, fame by association, power - all of which, however, proves elusive; yet this only makes their targets pursue them more. Imitate the alternating heat and coolness of the Coquette and you will keep the seduced at your heels. Symbol: The Shadow. It cannot be grasped. Chase your shadow and it will flee; turn your back on it and it will follow you. It is also a person's dark side, the thing that makes them mysterious. After they have given us pleasure, the shadow of withdrawl makes us yearn for their return, much as clouds make us yearn for the sun. | What Type of Seducer are You? created by polite_society

Woo!
Which one fits more?

Here it goes. I finally feel like filling out one of these stupid things.
1. Are you single or not?: Taken. 2. Do you currently have a crush on someone?: Yeah, I do. 3. Does your crush know?: I should hope so. 4. Nicknames: Mel, Hexametaphosphate, Hexa, Queen Mab... 5. Eyes: Brown 6. Height: 5'4. I think I grew an inch, though. So 5'5. 7. siblings: Sister - Alex, fourteen. Two older sisters, Jennifer and Aubrey. Two brother-in-laws, Anthony and Brian. 8. What are you wearing right now? A kinda heavy patchwork skirt, a black shirt we call "the slut shirt", and strappy high heels (I'm going out with boyfriend soon, previously mentioned in one, two, and three). 9. Birthday: December 19th, 1987. 10. Where do you live: Helena, Montana. 11. Sex: Female. 12. Righty or Lefty: Right.
ON GUYS FOR GIRLS TO FILL OUT (for girls only)
14. Boxers or briefs: It depends. I previously thought boxers, but.. er. Yeah. 16. Tall or short: Tall, definitely. But not towering over me. (Boyfriend is only three or four inches taller than me when I'm in heels). 17. Western, Preppy, or All- American?: It's hard not to find a guy out here that isn't Western, and I don't like preps, though I've never actually dated one (not including Mike), and there's really no All-American guy out there. 18. Good or bad guy: A little of both. I want him to be a good guy when he meets my parents, but a bad (not enitrely in the James Bond villian way, either) guy when we're alone. 19. Hat or no hat: It depends. I remember Mike a lot in a hat, and it was cute on him. But when Nate wears a hat... he ALWAYS looks gay. I haven't seen my boyfriend in a hat yet, though. 20. Ears pierced or not : I don't want him to have more piercings than me (I don't have any). 22. Dimples or not : Dimples are fine. Just... yeah. Maybe not. 23. Athlete or Academic: Academic. Looks really don't matter to me. It's the smarts that gets me. 24. kissing or cuddling (not both): Cuddling. Kissing is kinda wet. 26. Accent or not: It depends. Carl had a cute accent. Ben has a dead sexy accent. Robby's accent made me laugh so hard I almost peed my pants. Sexy, yes. Cute, yes. Funny as hell, maybe not.
ON GIRLS FOR GUYS TO FILL OUT (for guys only) 27. Regular underwear or thong: 28. Painted nails or not: 29. Bra or sports bra: 30. Cute n' mysterious or wild n' sexy: 31. Dressy or casual: 32. Dark or Blonde: 33. Long or short hair?: 34. Dark or light eyes: 35. Long or short nails: 36. Hat or no hat: 37. Good or bad girl: 39. Hair up or down: 40. Jewelry or none: 41. Tall or short: 42. Curly or straight hair: 43. Pants or dress: 44. Tan or fair: 45. Freckles or none: 46. Pretty indoor chick or party chick: 48. Accent or not: 49. Shy or outgoing: 50. kissing or cuddling (not both):
MORE QUESTIONS
51. Root Beer or Dr. Pepper: Depends. Dr. Pepper has a nice bite, but if it's Barq's... well, that wins all the time. 52. Mud or Jell-O wrestling: Jell-O is sticky. Mud hardens. I don't know. 53. sunshine or rain: The sunshine right after it rains. Still wet, and a little cold, but bright and smelling awesome. 54. Vanilla or Chocolate: I actually kinda like both. But a lot of times chocolate. 55. skiing or boarding: Ew. I hate both. 56. Day or night: I don't know what the big obsession with either is, frankly. They're both just times of day. 57. Summer or winter: Summer. Sure it's hot and sticky, but I love being with my friends. 58. Cake or pie: Depends. I like cake, but if it's cherry pie... 60. Silver or gold: Silver. Gold is gaudy. 61. Diamond or Pearl: Diamonds sparkle, but pearls glow. It would be hard to decide. 62. sunset or sunrise: Sunrise is beautiful. The dew still lingers on the grass, and it's almost cold even during summer. 63. Have you ever broken/fractered a bone: Not really. I ripped a ligament, does that count? 64. What's your favorite color: Bleh. We place WAY too much importance on color. Pink means you're preppey, black is the stereotypical thing for a teenager to answer, and any other colour, well. If I had to choose one, I'd pick opaque. 65. Do you hate any one?: Person? Not really. I dislike them greatly. Does that count? 66. What's your favorite band?: Maroon 5. 67. Do you have a HUGE crush on someone?: Yeah, I do. I did before I went out with him, and I only have more of a crush now. 68. Have you ever been in love?: I suppose you could say I have. 69. Ever been hurt by a member of the opposite sex?: Hasn't everyone? 70. Who's the loudest friend you have? Travis. But I love him, nonetheless. 71. Who's the quietest friend: Probably Paul. He hardly ever speaks. 72. who's the craziest friend: Well, see. It might insult a few of my friends, but none of them are textbook crazy. They wish they were, but.. well, most of them aren't. They're just as normal as anyone else. If I had to choose one person... it would probably be Nate. He's always doing really weird stuff that could potentionally get him hurt, but he always seems to enjoy it. 73. Who makes you laugh the most: Travis makes me laugh all the time. 74. who's the nicest: It's not so much a matter of being nice with them. It's a matter of biting their tongue until you fight with them, and then they demote you for everything you've done. Yeah, I'm talking about my friend, Sarah Brunson. She's insane that way. 75. who do you tell EVERYTHING to?: Sean. 76. what is your idea of the perfect date?: A perfect date? It has to be a surprise. And it can't end. The perfect date is when I fall asleep in his arms afterward. 77. Name as it appears on your birth certificate?: Michaele Rae Garza. 78. Date that you regularly blow out your candles: December. If I get a cake, it's always the 19th. 79. Favorite Season: Autumn. I love the smell of the leaves, and the kinda cold sensation in the air. 80. Pets: Ten fish. Mostly goldfish. Rats - Aristotle, Basil, Vronsky, Beatrice, Cordelia, Wolfwood, Chang, and the golden rat I never thought of a name for. Cats - Anya and Desi (Desdemona, can you see I like Shakespeare). Hamsters - Crookshanks (Nate's hamster, he can't keep it, so he leaves it here, but it's technically his), and the six little dwarves I have, though they all look the same so it's impossible to name them all. That's it. 81. Tattoos: Nope. Not ever. Ew. Needles. Moreso, ew. You can't get it off? What's the point? Some self-expression? What happens if you get a tattoo on... I dunno. Your stomach. You lose fifty pounds. The tattoo? Ew. Disgusting. 82. Piercing: Nope. I had my ears pierced once. I don't want them repierced. 83. Hometown: Denver, Colorado. 84. Current Residence: Helena, Montana. 85. Favorite food: Cheesecake, perhaps? Chimichunga, though.. oooh. 86. Favorite soft drink: Depends. I love root beer, but if you count Brisk as a soft drink... 87. Been to Africa? Nope. 88. Loved somebody so much it made you cry?: Yeah, I suppose so. 89. Been in a car accident? Nope. I hope never to, too. 90. Favorite WORD (s)?: Piffle (means nonsense). 91. Last book you read: Living Dead in Dallas. It's the second in the Southern Vampire romance/mystery series. 92. When was your last hospital visit: Influenza type A. It was awesome. I was the first case EVER reported in Helena. 93. What color is your bedroom carpet: Blueish-grey carpet. It chafes when you're playing strip poker, and you don't have a pillow to sit on. 94. Who is the last person you got email from before this?: My mom. She sent me a link through email. (Also, Sean.) 95. Have you ever been convicted of a crime?: Not yet. 96. What's the funniest thing you ever heard or the funniest thing you ever said?: The funniest thing? It depends. I find everything funny at three in the morning. But I can't think of anything in particular while awake and sober.

To Whom It May Concern:
I have been studying the physical properties of cats' claws as medicines, and for building materials. In working with these mysterious claws, I have come across the startling news that they are, in fact, deadly. I have followed, over the years, people getting scratched by these poisonous claws, and have come to the conclusion that cat poison, as I like to call it, is a slow acting poison that, when it enters the blood stream, gathers into a small group and slowly, over years and years, deteriorates ones' health, and, in fifty to seventy five years, kills off a completely healthy human being. I am appalled that no one has noticed the significant deaths that follow a person being scratched by these sharpened tools of death. It further upsets me for I, myself, have lost a person to this horrible cat poison, and I will inform you that, while the poison manifests itself so slowly one hardly knows it's happening, it is truly frustrating to watch a loved one die in front of your eyes. It is for this reason that I am coming forward with this surprising knowledge.
I am now researching the possibility of a cure of this cat poison, but am so far coming up empty handed. I beg of you that you tell someone about this awful killer. It could save lives!
Note; OpiumToast does not agree with declawing ones' cats. It is inhumane. Rather, just knit them cute little booties. It decreases ones' chance of death and also makes these furry balls of death instantly adorable.
Dedicated to Tim the Moose - May God grant you rest in that cat poisonless place in the sky.
